Marble Falls High School Mustang Jazz Ensemble
The Mustang Jazz Ensemble is the Varsity Jazz Ensemble.
The MJE is the competitive Jazz Ensemble for Marble Falls High School. Over the past 8 years, the MJE has been a contestant at the Georgetown Jazz Festival and the Tarleton State University Jazz Festival. During this time the MJE has received several awards including two second-place finishes at the Tarleton Jazz Festival for their classification. The MJE has also received several individual awards including outstanding soloist, best rhythm section, and All-Star Jazz Band placements.
Members of the Varsity Band are encouraged to participate in the TMEA All-State Jazz Band Audition Process. Several members of the MJE have placed very highly in this process.
